President Obama’s 50th birthday party, scheduled for August 3rd at the Aragon Ballroom is currently on hold. Senior White House officials insist that the party depends on the resolution of negotiations to raise the debt limit ceiling.
“The President will not attend the event in Chicago if negotiations are ongoing,” an official said.
Jazz pianist Herbie Hancock and Jennifer Hudson are among the stars scheduled to be at the event.
It seems tax payers can no longer afford these lavish White House parties!
